Fort Drum is a historical town that was a military training site in 1908. In later years in 1935, the location changed its name to Pine camp and was used as an exercise area. Later in 1951, the pine camp was renamed Camp Drum and became the home of the 76th Engineer Battalion. It is also used as a temporary field training camp. Between 1800 and 1900, there was a new wave of construction and updated most of the buildings, roads, and family housing units at the fort. The fort continues to be a significant training center for army and reserve units.
Fort drum is located in Watertown, New York, and it borders Canada and Lake Ontario. It will take you 3 hours to drive to the capital of Albany. The place is the home of the 10th Mountain Division.
